EPOXAL 3:1 METAL PRIMER

Epoxal 3:1 Metal Primer in a grey colour applied on a metal roof deck of a hockey arena and topcoated with Kromogen in a grey colour.

DESCRIPTION:

EPOXAL 3:1 METAL PRIMER is a 2 component high solids solvent based, low VOC, high performance epoxy anticorrosion primer intended for use as a metal primer with rapid development of properties. It also is available in heavy metals (lead and chromium) free primer.

PRODUCT FEATURES:

Very rapid cure and properties development at ambient and low temperatures.
Excellent adhesion to steel, galvanized steel and aluminum.
Excellent anticorrosion properties in severe environmental conditions e.g. high humidity, chemical and solvent fumes.
Excellent UV resistance.
Very good chemical resistance.

TYPICAL USES:

Marine coatings.
Petrochemical, plants refineries, pharmaceuticals, and food processing plant coatings.
Industrial and agricultural machineries.
Aircraft, train cars, containers, coaches and automobile primer.
High performance structural steel.

TOP COATS:

Could be used as a one coat system, recommended top coat Epoxal 3:1 series.
